Some Useful Car Tips

We recommend that you follow these simple precautions in the first few months of your new finish's life:

IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS:

bullet Do NOT wax or polish the vehicle as this will not allow the finish to dry completely.

IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS:

bullet Do NOT use a commercial car wash, but DO wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a soapy solution using  a soft cloth or sponge.
bullet Wash the vehicle in the shade, NOT in the sun.
bullet Do NOT dry wipe the vehicle, as this could cause scratches.
bullet Keep the vehicle parked in the shade whenever possible as you avoid the heat and the cold.
bullet Do NOT drive on gravel roads as chipping is easily done in the first 30 days.
bullet Do NOT park under trees which drip sap.
bullet Wash bird droppings off your fresh paint as soon as possible
bullet Do NOT spill gasoline, antifreeze, transmission fluid or windshield solvent on the new finish.  If you do, IMMEDIATELY wash off with water.  DO NOT WIPE!
bullet Do NOT scrape ice or snow from the surface, but rather use a soft snow brush
